2010-11 Works in Progress

 |

Currently, Red Sky is developing the following two projects:

Our new dance project will be "The New Zealand Project" (working title only). The first creative phase of this project will take place from March 20 through to March 30, 2010.

We will also develop a new theatre dance project "The Weeping Mountain" (working title) for family audiences that will be workshopped in the Fall/Winter 2009, and will be available for touring in September 2010.

Stay tuned for more information as we develop these two exciting new projects.

Red Sky News: Upcoming Highlights

 |

Red Sky continues its exciting trajectory and currently has two performances that will be part of the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad.

Tono is a highlight at the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad, and was part of the closing ceremonies of the cultural programming of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2008 Meet in Beijing Festival.

Raven Fall Tour Across Canada

 |

Raven will be flying out again to 63 new communities with 133 performances throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Illinois, USA. We are excited to be presented at the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad at venues on Granville Island, Vancouver and in Whistler in February 2010. Currently, we are on the road and touring from October 19, 2009 through to June 9, 2010.

Tono in Toronto, January 2010

 |

In January 2010, the Mongolian artists from Ulanbaatar and Hohhot will be arriving in Toronto. We perform one night only in Toronto as we just performed at the 2009 Luminato Festival back in June. However, Tono is back by popular demand in Toronto for one night only and then we head to Western Canada to perform in Calgary, Edmonton and, yes, we will be a highlight at the 2010 Vancouver Cultural Olympiad. We will perform four shows at the Playhouse Theatre (on the same stage as Canada’s Crystal Pite and USA’s Laurie Anderson).
