This is my very first Blog. How very exciting to be part of this virtual world! I thought that I’d start with a question that I get asked all the time. People always ask what me “what inspired you to start Red Sky?”

I believe that a company is only as big as it dreams. Red Sky remains fresh, exciting and inventive because it knows how to align itself with the future. I must say that a big part of my inspiration comes from the beautiful vast land that I am from. I am from 1,600 islands, 3,200 kilometers (2,000 miles) of shoreline, fresh and deep water. This is the place that my parents are from, my grandparents, my great-grandparents, my great-great grandparents and so on down this incredible bloodline. I’m from Temagami - 'way up north where the trees they grow so high, they have to take them down at night to let the stars go by'. I see potential in so much, but rarely do I see performances that have truly moved me. You know that lasting inspiration where images swim in your head and heart for days, weeks and sometimes years. There are so many stories and possibilities that I didn’t see onstage, and I wanted to make this happen, so I founded Red Sky just nine brief years ago.

In this first blog, I would like this opportunity to thank each and every one of you from around the globe for your continued support of Red Sky. Keep us in your sights as our future together is a bright one.
