The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC Radio 3) contacted Artistic Director Sandra Laronde regarding the possibility of making a recording of Tanya Tagaq's live performance of Nanook of the North which will be presented on October 9 & 10. BBC Radio 3 ran a special season called ‘Magnetic North' which is devoted to music from the north. This BBC Radio 3 broadcast aired in December 2015.
