Red Sky News: Upcoming Highlights

Red Sky continues its exciting trajectory and currently has two performances that will be part of the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad.

Tono is a highlight at the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad, and was part of the closing ceremonies of the cultural programming of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2008 Meet in Beijing Festival.

Raven is flying high to the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad with performances in Vancouver, Granville Island and Whistler. Currently, Raven is touring to 63 new communities with 133 performances throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Illinois, USA. Raven Stole the Sun is on tour from October 19, 2009 through to June 9, 2010.

Artistic Director Sandra Laronde will deliver the keynote address to the 2009 Blackfoot Arts Awards Gala in Alberta on October 30, 2009. Some of the award recipients include Siksika artists Adrian Stimson and Eldon Weasel Child, among others.
