Land Dances Us will ultimately disrupt and transform the digital space through the development of a new model that will accelerate Indigenous resurgent content.

We are interested in a decolonial perspective that sees the connection between space, place, and body and learning on/from land. We will develop a transformative Indigenous-led framework for creative intervention into the digital landscape.

The physical component of this piece is multidisciplinary and combines dance, original music, set and lighting design. This project will be a digital experience that involves film, animation, VO, graphics, and AI. The format captured on film will allow multiple POV’s – interchanging between audience and character.

We acknowledge the generous support of Canada Council for the Arts for this exciting project.
