Our Vital Connection to Land
Situated on Lake Temagami Red Sky North focuses on culture, arts, and stewardship, strengthening our vital connection to land, water, community, and all living beings.
Land First Is Who We Are
A unique incubation hub and R&D space for projects born from Red Sky North and Red Sky Performance. Here, culture, story, and ancestral knowledge of the land intersect to ignite real-world action in Indigenous conservation and stewardship. We navigate key touchpoints that connect lake, reserve, and town on n’Daki Menan (Our Homeland) —to strengthen relationships and inspire meaningful change.
Anishinaabe principles such as respect, responsibility, reciprocity and renewal are the cornerstone of Red Sky North.

We mentored the Temagami Artistic Collective (TAC) and curated and produced four Deep Water Music concerts, uniting local and national artists through music, culture, and the land of the Teme-Augama Anishinaabe. Since then, the TAC has grown into a model for community presenters in northern Ontario. The concerts have evolved into the successful Deep Water Music Festival, year-round performances and other opportunities.

We are currently developing a Traditional Ecological Knowledge framework that will focus on Indigenous knowledge rooted in Teme-Augama Anishinaabe values and ethos.
